Throughout the site the terms “Spinal Design®”, “RMF”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Rockdale Mattress Factory. By entering the website browsing, visiting and/or purchasing something from us you are engaged in our “service” and agree and bound by the following terms and conditions.

Please read the Terms and Condition carefully before accessing and using our website. If you do not agree with all the terms and conditions of this agreement the you may not access the website and or use any service. The terms and conditions of this website apply to all users but are not limited to browsers, vendors, customers, merchants and/or contributors of content.

Purchasing Online

By purchasing online, you have agreed to all the terms and conditions. You must be 18 years of age or older to place order on the site. If you are under 18 years of age you will require approval and involvement from a parent or guardian.

RMF will verify the information that you have provided with the account and payment details. Should RMF suffer any damages or other losses if a transaction made by a minor, RMF reserves the right to seek compensation from the minor’s parent or guardian.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. In the event we make a change or cancel an order, me may attempt to notifying to you by email, billing address, and/or phone provided in the account setup. We reserve the right to limit and prohibit orders that in our sole judgement appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

We also reserve the right to cancel any part of your orders including the orders we have accepted without any liability to you for that cancellation at any time. Reasons for cancellation include but are not limited to: the products are no longer available, there is an error in the price/product description posted on the site or we believe your order is placed in breach of these terms and conditions.  Reasonable notice will be given for cancellation and you will not charge you for that order. In the instance an order was placed a refund will be provided at sales persons discretion.

Payment methods currently accepted online are Visa and Mastercard and additional surcharges may occur.

Products and Services

All the products and services available as described on the site can be varied, altered or eliminated at any time without notice. Some products may be available only instore and only online. Users of the website are required to make their own independent inquires or investigations regarding the availability and the prices of products online and in-store. Unless otherwise specified the process available on the site are inclusive of GST, may vary from instore and maybe subject to change without notice.

Online Information

We are not responsible if information made available on this site is not up to date, accurate and/or complete. All information that is provided on this site is general information only and should not be relied upon or used as the sole basis for making decision without consulting directly with a salesperson at Rockdale Mattress Factory at 56 Fairford Padstow NSW 2211.

Furthermore, we also reserve the right to modify information and contents on this site at anytime but have no obligation to do so at any time. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor changes on our site.

Delivery and Pick Up

Delivery fee may apply on your order and it may depend on: type of product you purchase (budget mattresses, pillows and accessories may incur delivery fee), how far you are from dispatch (Padstow NSW 2211), interstate and overseas orders, how many people are required to carry the product items into the room you require them.

Verification of delivery in form of signature by person collecting mattress will need to be noted.

If you do not wish to accept any additional delivery fee you may cancel the order or alternatively pick up from dispatch.

You may pick up your product directly from Rockdale Mattress Factory store in Padstow. The pick-up option is available once all products are paid in full and funds have cleared with Rockdale Mattress Factory. Salesperson will contact you once products are ready and organise a time for pick up.

We do not guarantee, represent or warrant that your use of our website will uninterrupted, timely, secure and error free. You agree of the above terms and conditions and use or inability to use our site and services are at your own risk. In any case Rockdale Mattress Factory director, sales people, service providers, officers, employees, contractors and/or third-party affiliates are not liable for any injury, loss claims or any direct, indirect incidental, punitive, social or consequential damages of any kind, including delivery damages. These terms and conditions are only a guide and not limited.

Warranty

We will honour our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law and provide you with an exchange, refund or compensation if an item has a major problem. This is when the item is unsafe or is significantly different from the description or sample shown to you.
Pillows are not designed for the use of babies or small children.
For Warranty Claims, proof of purchase is required, and we reserve the right to assess the condition and age of any returned goods prior to offering an exchange, refund, compensation or repair.

Exchange and Refund

For hygiene reasons we do not exchange or refund, Pillows, Pillowcases, Natural Fibre Filling, Mattress and Pillow Protectors, unless you have a valid claim at law. Please ensure you select these items carefully before purchase.
Returns if applicable are credited in the way they were originally paid. Postage charges on returns are not refundable.

Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the goods cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before adding them to your shopping cart and proceeding with your order.

What does warranty cover?

This warranty covers the following defects in workmanship and materials of a Spinal Design pillow that always has only been in normal domestic use and treated in accordance with our policies.
Any manufacturer defect which affects the use or function of the pillow (except zipper).
Any manufacturer defect in the pillow cover such as the fabric tearing or stitching unravelling (except zipper).

What does the warranty NOT cover?

• Zipper of the Innercasing and Pillowcase.
• Comfort preference.
• Abnormal or Commercial use.
• Physical abuse or damage to pillow which causes defects such as burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage or stains.
• Mould, dirt, stains, smells, or bed bug infestations resulting from poor pillow care.
• Any claim made other than for the benefit of the original purchaser.
• Any pillow (whether manufactured by Rockdale Mattress Factory /Spinal Design or not) sold by a reseller who is not an authorised reseller at the time of purchase.
• Any pillow sold “as-is”, “preconditioned”, “reconditioned”, “used”, “comfort return”, “returned”, “previously owned”, or any other similar wording indicating that the pillow is not “new” or of “first quality”, or has previously been purchased or used by someone else.
